For the past week Tyler and I have had a WONDERFUL break from school! We both finished classes last Friday and celebrated by going to JACKSON HOLE on Saturday! Tyler's sister, Katy and her family went with us! We had so much fun seeing all the great shops in Jackson Hole and getting our picture taken under the "Antler Arches"! My camera ran out of batteries, so all the pictures are on Katy's camera! We had SO much fun being able to see all the beautiful sites around Jackson Hole!
The rest of the week we spent relaxing and getting caught up with SLEEP! We must have slept in almost every day! It has been such a treat, but we are both ready to get on a better schedule for the new semester! On Wednesday Tyler and I went bowling for only $6 (got to love starving student cards!!!)! I was hoping to show off my stellar bowling skills, but my game was off and Tyler beat me!
We spent the last of our Target gift cards buying DVDs! The best purchase we made was "The Blind Side"!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie! I've watched the movie about four times since we bought it and I can't get enough of it! Tyler and I saw it when we were on our Honeymoon and we just fell in love with it! After watching it we have SERIOUSLY considered moving to Tennessee, but we will see!
On Friday we were able to go to the Idaho Falls temple with Tyler's mom and dad! We had such a wonderful time!! We then spent the night in Blackfoot so that we could spend more time with Tyler's family! It is always fun to get out of Rexburg and spend time with the Andersens!!
We are SUPER excited about going down to Utah this weekend!! It will be so wonderful to see Zach graduate! What an achievement!!! We are also SUPER excited to spend time with the rest of the family! We are hoping to leave Thursday night, but it all depends on how are classes go the next couple of days!
It is our first day of class tomorrow, and we are ready for a new semester!! This semester should be a LOT easier than last semester!!! This is my sixth semester in college, and is Tyler's fifth semester so we are excited about being closer to graduating! Only 1 1/2 years left!! We have been blessed these past couple of months and we are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in the months to come!!
what a fun trip for you guys! You totally deserved a nice restful break. Can't wait to see you guys in a couple of days!!
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait to get you guys down here! That's a cool pic of Jackson Hole. For all the times we've been to Wyoming, we've never gotten that far north. Looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise to see that you had updated your Blog while right before we all went to Utah! It really is a beautiful picture of Jackson Hole--it actually looks like a town in Europe--it is beautiful! It was fun catching up with you and Tyler in Utah--we look forward to even more Blogging from the "Astounding Allemans" :)
